Screenagers: Under The influence

Edgerton School District, Edgerton Police Department, Rock County Prevention Network, and Rock County Human Services have partnered to bring you “Screenagers: Under the Influence”. This documentary “delves into how the tech revolution has reshaped adolescence and its effects on substance use. The film debunks myths and depicts strategies parents and schools can use to encourage healthy decision-making, support teen mental health, set limits, and create healthy home environments. The film also includes many ways young people are using their wisdom and strength to help each other and themselves through this complicated terrain around substance use”. Tangible educational materials and conversational starters will be available as a take-away from this family friendly event.

All parents/caregivers are welcome. This film is appropriate for grades 6 and up. No cost and no registration necessary.

Doors will open at 6:15 and the film will begin at 6:30, lasting about 70 minutes.
